I.T. Kimyaev Spoke at the International Workshop ICCS-DE 2025 in Irkutsk

News

From July 7 to 11, 2025, the 7th International Workshop “Information, Computation, and Control Systems for Distributed Environments (ICCS-DE 2025)” was held in Irkutsk. The event was organized by the Matrosov Institute for System Dynamics and Control Theory of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISDCT SB RAS) with the support of the CICESE Research Center (Mexico). Traditionally, the workshop brings together researchers and specialists in the fields of control systems, distributed computing, and digital technologies.

I.T. Kimyaev (NorNickel Sputnik LLC, Moscow) took part in the workshop with a presentation titled “Methodology of the Manufacturing Companies Viability Evolutionary Management,” prepared in collaboration with Professor B.V. Sokolov and PhD (Tech.) V.V. Zakharov from the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC FRC RAS).

In their presentation, the authors introduced a methodology for the evolutionary management of manufacturing companies’ viability, based on the complexity control approach. The research focuses on enhancing the efficiency of vertically integrated industrial structures through the systematic increase of complexity in information and control system architectures. This approach allows maintaining the necessary level of company viability under changing external conditions.

The proposed framework also describes the gradual evolutionary replacement of operators and technologists—as decision-making agents—with functionally equivalent software and hardware complexes integrated into existing and future production systems.
