From July 3 to 4, 2025, the All-Russian Conference “Industrial Artificial Intelligence” was held in Saint Petersburg. The event was dedicated to the implementation of intelligent technologies, machine learning, and automation in industry and high-tech sectors.
The mission of the conference was to bring together the academic and university communities with industrial companies to discuss current challenges and prospects in the fields of industrial artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, and automation and control technologies.
The conference agenda included the analysis of recent achievements in industrial AI systems, discussions on new methods for managing structurally complex systems, and the creation of a platform for sharing research results and practical experience.
A distinguished Russian scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Boris Vladimirovich Sokolov of the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC FRC RAS), took part in the conference and presented a report titled
“Methodology and Technologies for the Automation and Intellectualization of Proactive Control of Complex Systems.”
In his presentation, Professor Sokolov shared the results of research devoted to the development of methodological and technological foundations for automating and enhancing the intelligence of control processes for complex dynamic systems (CDS). The proposed approach is based on the principles of systems analysis, control theory, and operations research, and is aimed at creating universal tools for proactive control that ensure adaptation, self-organization, and sustainable development of information and control systems under conditions of uncertainty and multi-criteria constraints.
