Abstract
The paper deals with the methods and techniques of evidence – based ecological economics in order to develop an information base and tools for justifying management decisions in the field of ecology. The study reviews the methods of obtaining social and economic and ecological indices of ecological and economic objects as well as a set of these indices. The research priorities in the ecological economics are considered. The paper substantiates the methodological approaches to estimating the social and economic efficiency of the activities leading to a change in environmental assets. The generalized structure of the criteria describing a status and transformation of natural resources is presented in terms of stocks and flows. The environmental assets are evaluated according to three – level factors: primary observations (primary properties), indicators, modeling results. As an example, the possible set of indicators determined by land remote sensing data in a port area is proposed to characterize as an adverse impact on environmental assets. The research considers the statistical models of coordinated dynamics of social and economic and ecological indices for analyzing evolution scenarios of the economic and ecological system.
