Innoforestview project meeting in Helsinki
On February 06-07, 2020, InnoForestView project meeting was held in Helsinki (Finland).
The meeting was attended by all project partners – representatives of St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Centre, St. Petersburg State Forest Technical University, Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) and SPIIRAS.
During the meeting, partners presented the current results of project activities. LITSAM Chief researcher Viacheslav Zelentsov summarized SPIIRAS progress within the first year of project implementation and made a detailed report on performed activities according to the 2 main SPIIRAS working packages: «Satellite data thematic processing and interpretation» and «Innovative Information system implementation». Senior researcher Semyon Potryasaev presented the information system prototype being developed by SPIIRAS. The system already contains the current results of Earth observation data processing obtained by SPIIRAS and a set of open data on the topic of forest research including data from Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke).
